We would like to welcome all new and returning students to Dance Spectrum. Classes in ballet, jazz, tap, modern and Zumba Fitness are offered on Tues., Wed. and Thurs. evenings and on Sat. afternoons. Please call (609) 625-2880 for class info. If you get the machine, please leave a message. Please fill out a registration form for the year if you have not done so already. Any registration form prior to August needs to be replaced. They are available in the waiting room. Restrooms are located behind the dance room in the back of the building across from the office. You may walk through dance room to get there, but please do so quietly as not to disrupt class. There is also a kitchenette in back that you may use.
Payment Policies
All Dance lesson money is due during the 1st week of the month and is past due and subject to a $10 late fee after the 15th of the month. Lesson money is payable to Dance Spectrum. Annual registration fees are due upon enrollment. A billing envelope will be available to each student and can be found in outgoing box on table in waiting room. If there is not one with your child’s name you may fill out a blank. Please submit your payment in the envelope and leave in the office or inbox. Your empty envelope will be returned to an outbox in the waiting room with a signature confirming receipt. You may take it and keep it home until next payment or leave it with us until you pay again. Payment is still due even if you do not have your envelope. Our fee is a flat rate monthly fee, regardless of how many classes are scheduled or attended that month. Long term absence and non payment may require a new registration fee to re-enroll or may result in loss of spot in class.
Dress Code
All Dance Students are expected to wear proper dancewear: leotard, tights, leggings, etc. No sweat pants, T shirts or jeans of any kind! No pants in ballet Skirts or dance shorts are permitted over leotard and tights. Ballet slippers and Pointe shoes should be pink. Tap shoes should be black. Jazz shoes should be black. Recital News
Plan on the show being held in mid June at the Stockton PAC. Last year our theme was “The Magic of Music”. We are taking ideas for this year’s show. Classes will begin working on routines in January. Focus at this time of year is on technique. A $20 deposit per costume will be due November 28th and the balance will be due the first class after the new year. We must order our costumes early in order to get them in time for our photos in May. A costume usually costs about $55-$65. Future newsletters or notices will keep you informed of costume prices, payment dates and rehearsal dates.
